Growing up in a small Swiss mountain village, Sivilian discovered his passion for music early on. Together with his former classmate Karen Frauchiger, he founded the folk-pop band Frost & Fog. This led to performances at the Gurtenfestival, a nomination for the M4Music Demotape Clinic, and initial radio success with the song "Barricade." Encouraged by his sister, Sivilian launched his solo project in 2020 with the release of his first single "Invisible to Automatic Doors." During a period of self-reflection, Sivilian quit his old job and returned to his roots to write new music. In the songs created during this period, Sivilian humorously and sarcastically processes the experience of growing up as a queer person in a small rural and Christian-influenced Swiss village. This is also reflected in "Chlorine," Sivilian's new single that offers a taste of his upcoming second EP "Growing Up Hurts," which is set to be released in early 2025.
