It was built in the early 1990s by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Nagasaki and serves as a vital link in the oil and gas supply chain. The vessel is permanently moored to a Single Point Mooring (SPM) system, situated around 1 nautical mile from the Dulang B platform.
