About

AdELA is a South African-born, Florida-raised, Atlanta-based independent artist—singer, rapper, and songwriter—known for her bold style and genre-defying sound. She earned her first RIAA Certified Gold credit as a co-writer and performer on Meek Mill’s “Made It From Nothing.” Her EP Dreamers and Thinkers featured legends like Royce Da 5’9, Skyzoo, Fat Joe, and Kool G Rap, charting in the U.S., U.K., and France. AdELA wrote and performed “Octane” for Ubisoft’s Rider’s Republic and “Champion,” the official 2022 Stanley Cup anthem for the NHL. Her music has appeared on HBO Max, Netflix, Hulu, ABC, and more. In 2022, she won Best Newcomer at the Production Music Awards. As CEO of Off The Burner Music, AdELA continues to create and lead on her own terms. “I have my own sound, my own style, and my own lane—on top of doing it all independently.”
